Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Association
 

Dear Colleagues,

Within the next week you will be receiving the FLFDA Convention packet in the mail. The Convention will be held at the Harbor Hotel, Watkins Glen, NY on Tuesday, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th. Our 2- day event will attract funeral directors from NY and PA offering up to 12 credits, our popular movie night and industry leaders on the convention floor. Convention cost is $225. ($95 for non-licensed guests)

Cost includes 12 New York State CEU's and 6 Pennsylvania CEU's; 4 Meals, Convention Materials and free admission to Jack Black’s movie “Bernie”. Space is limited to 180 so register early to guarantee your spot. Deadline is March 18, 2013. Due to limited seating there will be no refunds.

Our Keynote speaker will be Bob Buhrig, CFSP and his topic will be, Facing the Rapid Changes in Funeral Services. A full schedule can be accessed on our Convention Info page.  

With your $25 membership dues, you will have the opportunity to register for the convention first, so get your dues in. This year our annual membership meeting will take place at the conclusion of Tuesday’s presentations approximately at 4:15PM. Elections and By-Law changes will take place at the meeting, so please plan on attending. A ballot and By-Law changes will be up loaded on the web site. Social Hour with complimentary cocktails and appetizers for FLFDA members will take place immediately following in the Cold Water Bar.
